A new round of creative writing classes will begin in a couple of weeks at the Coastal Georgia Center. I was hoping to reach out to you to let the members of the Savannah Writers Group know about the classes and encourage them to enroll if they are looking to further their immersion in the craft of writing. Here is the information, http://academics.georgiasouthern.edu/ce/programs/personaldevelopment/writingclasses/
As the instructor, I work to create an encouraging,
safe and fun environment for all levels. And a few of the previous
students have gone on to publish.
Please don't hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.
With warmest regards,
Amy Paige Condon

Local Authors' Corner @ the Black Heritage Festival:
I am extending an invitation to you and the Savannah Writer's Group to participate in this year's Local Authors Corner. The Grand Festival Day will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 in the Savannah Civic Center's Martin Luther King, Jr. Arena.
In
the past, the organizers of the Black Heritage Festival (BHF) have
provided a room for the Local Authors Corner (LAC) and a vendor's table
to display our books. This year, we are asking the participating authors
to contribute $20.00 to purchase two (2) tables, which
would allow us to be in a better location, and have more room. The cost
for two tables is $200. The deadline is January 17, 2014. So, time is of
the essence!
Peace & Blessings,
Brenda Roberts, Coordinator
